it's over...coz of a stupid goal..when one split second matt was left unmarked...but hey...whats the point of crying over spilt milk..we PLAYED well.... one shortcorner...
and it was a good one...saints had like more than 8..none went in..not even close...our goal was score by jeter...but it wasnt good enough...2-1 we lost...its over,,,we played well...next year b div...let's go! and next year c div...good luck guyz!

Looking ahead....

we only won 4-0...good that we bagged the 3 points..but now..what if teck wye score more tahn us...but let's not worry bout it....and concentrate on winning saints...guyz...we can do it....saints are confirm through since they won teck whye 2-0..so they might slack a little so their other players don't get injured....i mean he should be smart.... so let's hope for the best...rmbr....we play smart and we play hard....just train hard during trainings...thursday got trng also.... but if u are injured or sick....dont stress yourself out...save it for the game!

we lost 1-0 to teck whye.... it's a really really sad loss...and to me it's the saddest ever! 1-0 is just so damn painful....we can't blame anyone but the pitch was new..but we would be losers if we blamed the pitch...so we hold our head up high and march into our next game against orchid park we are prone to winning but...we must win by alot...and defence has to work!! as fro me a striker...i need to work on my deflections too and controlling high balls... we can do this...and we will ....after that we have to win saints...unless treck whye loses to saints and scores damn little against orchid park...but that is very unlikely...and guys we cannot play till we get injured against orchid park...beacause rmbr..against orchid park is 14 july....saints is 18 july... WE CANNOT GIVE UP! AS COLEMAN SAID DON'T LICK YOUR WOUNDS CELEBRATE THEM! okay guys...we played very well and even mr arul and nunis said we played very well... we lost 3-1 but hey..against 18 or 19 year olds....kudos to bryan who scored the sole goal for sji....a hit at the d... good goal!... plus we made first blood..... Temasek poly is good and getting 3-1 is amazing....3-1 against tp and our past result with northland 6-0...is just so weird...so come on...we have improved...let's be happy and play our best against teck whye and we msut win!...we win oh my god..everyone will be s happY!..

Benjamin looks like a good defender...finally mr arul has opened his eyes! then...darrel improved....keenan's hits are bouncy but just the direction and accuracy is problem...but i was very shocked when it went pass so many temasek players! keenan..hope u don;t get too complacent...coz i heard one guy telling another guy in the second half...who said.."oh my god...their last man can hit better than you!" lol!.... and alexis has improved too... coleman played very well today..going pass people...doing his tick tocks...zeng kai also...bryan and akhi of course played well...yiwen would have done very well if he just didn't solo but obviously he played well...good reverse shot...samuel played well too...and some of the subs played well also....nto to forget hass who did an awesome job... and theseira was good for his first game...;but should stnad in the center rather than stand on the extreme right....

GUYS! we can do it...we can really really do it! we can beat teck whye.... but don't be so complacent..just play how we played today...

Yo teammates. Lets face it, we're in a tough group. But think of it this way, theoratically, we're better than all 3 of the teams we're against. Saints, Tech Whye and Orchid Park. They didn't get top four but SJI, we did last year. WE CAN DO IT AGAIN this year. Many of us are freaked out that we're playing Tech Whye away. But we drew with them last year and we must and will do it again. C'mon guys, it is possible really...

well it was a good opening for us where we were with loyang...teck whye...orchid park and yuhua.. we didnt lose any of our matches but drew with teck whye 0-0... we won yuhua 6-0 where i think...yiwen score 2 0r 3 goals...akhi scored 1..bryan scored 1 and sam "scored" a penalty flick... coz they had no keeper and the penalty flcik was automaticallly counted...then we won loyang 4-0 with bryan scoring a dragflick coz of the shortcorner..where it was timed 2.34 seconds...then we won orchid park 3-0 with one shortcorner where i think "yiwen" scored...it was not a standard shotcorner....but a tactical one.....and i think yiwen scored another one...the other one i cant rmbr....then we were 2nd in our group my goal differences again coz teck whye won loyang 9-0... so they won us in goal differnences by 2 or 3..

then wednesday we were competing with saints...victoria and bukit view.. we were to win 2 matches to gurantee a place in the semis or win and draw one and hope we win on goal difference...we were off to a bad start when we lost to vs 2-0...then we drew with saints 1-1 where we were a goal down and then we had a shortcorner where sam pushed and i was suppose to stop and akhi was to hit..but instead sam pushed to yiwen and the saints were taken aback...yiwen took a sweep and it went to the other corner of the goal... hass was great too with wonderful saves...and then we won bukit view 3-2 where yiwen scored 1 and sam scored two reverse shots...but the best was his first goal when he reversed and it went over the keeper and into the goal...
we were rooting for vs to win saints....but instead vs put in their sec 1 team and saints won them 1-0...hence we lost...but we watched the whole tournament ...where sengkang emerged champs...raffles runner ups....saints 3rd and victoria 4th..

however we were also there to see other things like crescent girls' no 22...who can forget akhi's embarrassing moment when he asked her for her number and the whole lot fo them laughed like crazy and gave him a rong number...lol! jacked!....oh yah and mr arul got fined i think 30 bucks in all for bad parking...and when mr arul said there were rumours we are in the group of death for 11 a side..mr arul said..."u see keenan's balls drop already.." then keenan was bouncing the match ball and then akhi was like sir keenan's dropping ur balls...

okay fiesta was pretty okay and went better than expected unlike other teams we did not have a first team a 2nd team and a 3rd team....ours was mainly like one captain per team and random picks so we did not have a best team and we all did not have keepers....instead we had ppl who never tried keeper be keeper....coz hassanal was playing for the sec 4 team where he rocked the show... and they got 4th... however we were not so fortunate... there were 3 teams each captained by akhilesh,bryan and kumarr....bryan's team scored a total of 5 points out of 5 games...meaning they won one,drew 2 and lost one....one of the matches where kumarr and keenan played for them as some of their members went already, which was against northland..their players were very rough,unfair and bastardly....this was coz when they were attacking...and their number 21 or 23 was with the ball, coleman ran towards him and the guy tripped and fell and coleman said sorry a 1000 and one times...and we even extended our hands to help him up and all said sorry...but it probably did not go through their skulls..coz they were out to avaenge us...there was one time when i was on the run with the ball and their captain cem towards me and pushed me super hard and when i fell and it was their ball the guy kicked my stick and took the hit...but the stupid pakistan ref was too blind i even shouted "ref! what's this?"....then they also disturbed bryan when he was not with the ball...there was one time when we had a shortcorner...and i was walking to the other side to take the push...they shouted cheebai! babi! and all that bullshit...btu the ref was blind and deaf again! it ended in a 0-0 draw and they were like...bye bye see u tmrw! we were like in our heads...fuck u u retarded shit... so tt was the end of tt group...now on kumarr(me)...WE GOT 7 POINTS..WE WON 2 LOST 2 and drew 1....we won 4-1 where sam score 3 goals and yiwen scoreed the other....and we won yuhua 1-0 where kumarr scored the shortcorner....and we lost to saints 2-0..and lost to northland 3-1 where sam scored..but we should have won coz the ref was screwed up ...just a jing over the stick was a lift in his books...and we drew 3-3 to teck whye where io think yiwen score 2 and sam scored 1.... we didnt qualify coz of goal count teck whye won us by 2 goals in all....but then akhi's team qualified with 3 wins and 1 loss ro ri...they got 9 points but some of his team mates left so some of use from the othe rteams joined in to play saints for the quarters where it was 0-0 even after 5 mins golden goal....so it was up to penalty flick(sudden death)...bryan scored...akhi scored...yiwen scored...adn it was up to joshua to score but he missed...but even if he scored it wouldnt have been counted coz he flicked before the whistle..but it was a good try...then sadly they scored against us with hakkem diving in the correct direction but sadly not fast enough... but at leats our sec 4 team made it to 4th...!

okay... i yet to discuss this with bran and akhi and all... but i was thinkin why not pu some more intiative in the team and organize a match during recess every day.. and make sure at least 10 people are there.. so far the sec 1s are shwing much enthusiasm and we all appreciate it.. i hope it doesn't fade away... the people who most definitley have to come are....( cuase the have much potential but aren't practicing enough) shaun, jarette and xuan yi... these people are called coz they have alot of potential but are not putting in their most... i dunno but it's just my opinion..if there are any objections please be open...

If the soccer people get injured it is not our problem.

Satish injury

i didnt come to school on thursday but mr arul called me and asked if i was there when satish got injured and well he said that his mother called and said he lost his memory..kelmond chopped the ball and it hit satish..but funnny thing is that satish was playin hockey again after he got injured??? so well how can that be true?

Okay so yesterday we had an accident prone training. Firstly mr arul didn't come i don't know why so we had to train by ourselves. so we were playing match all the way where in one team....was samuel lim , jeremy, timothy chan, marc chan, haqeem, rishi, keenan, dennis and i cant rmbr and the other team was bryan, kelmond, winston, kumarr, wei yang, benjamin, alexis, satish and joshua. So it was damn funny coz i kept speaking in mat language and the match was really bullshit it was like from 2-2 went all the way to like 9 plus and i can't rmbr who won. So the first injury was when sam injured himself as the ball hit his face. The other was when winston was running down the flank and a slow push would have done the trick but he swept it so high it went straight to rishi's wrist and best part was that rishi was so close to him. Then, rishi got injured again when the ball hit his face and then the best injury of all. Everybody was having like a small time out and then kemond from the other and of the pitch attempted to slice the ball all the way to the other end thinking that evryone was facing that direction the4n satish was looking the other side and just holding his stick by its side and then i saw the ball almost landing at satish i was like"sa!" and the ball hit his head and from a smile a faint owwww! sounded.. It was sad but i couldn't help but break down in laughter...so did alot of others yeah it was very mean.then many other close calls came but somehow it was almways in samuel lim's team that got the worst haah.anyways the outstanding sec 1s in the match other than yiwen was benjamin who scored 2 goals wei yang who made important tackles...rishi..and haqeem.jeremy was so funny when he had so many open chances as he was just poaching around but he kep missing open deflections. Then there was one part part kelmond yelled at hqeem for fun and then marc was like (seriously) kelmodn shut up don't bull him then kelmond said why no humour is it? then he said yah no humour why? then kemond said iron heart is it...lol..we all went home at about 17 50 or 18 00 or some later i didn't noe coz i wanted to do short corner for 10 mins but sam pulled me out of it. anyway akhilesh please come back soon.

Okay I put my self in forward unless jetter is possible to be a forward but other wise he will definitely be in the team and My position is in jeopardy but problem is that we do not have a potential sweeper unless akhilesh or Bryan becomes the sweeper at the same time who will be the center half? So this is what i fork out so far I think zeng kai should be a back instead of a half coz defense is the priority (i am not speaking like mr arul I am just saying what is reality) and if we don't have a defense how can we attack? I think our halves are pretty comfortable forwards are ok defense is a bit jerky in terms of the consistency of hits.... and sweeps... the problem with keenan is that he is ( presently) consistent with his hits but his sweeps seem to be on and off..zeng kai is consistent in both but hits need more power darell is awesome in both even his flicks! however he might be too tired easily in a big pitch like that because of less exposure.....the only problem with the halves is that rishi is only a sec 1 and we have not seen his full potential.. forwards seem the only problem is me...coz of my on and off form and lack of speed....gk has only been with pads once...but hassanal seems promising but too early to tell moreover we have JETTER so there's a sub for me or maybe i a sub for him....coleman akhi and bryan seem excellent up there where akhi more defensive...as in bryan attack more and coleman could be a potential ball sender at the right flanks.....however his hits seem on and off.....and not to forget the rest of the team whom I think will make it.....arvinth, rishi, Ryan Chee, Jeremy, Wei Yang,Dennis,Alexis, Daniel, Joshua or haqeem .....

The sec 1s in the 6 a side team will probably be (i think) rishi, jetter, Jeremy and dennis or maybe just three

Training for C division (sec1s and 2s) will commence on every monday wednesday and friday so please turn up for all of them unless you have a valid excuse....which must be accompanied with a letter if you did not go to the doctor or a medical certificate unless it is common sense that you were participating in (for example) prefect camp or you are participating in a interview with the principal whatsoever.... Training should be from 15 30 hrs to 17 30 hrs but it usually ends at 18 00 hrs or 18 30 hrs...so please sec 1s be noted if the sec 1s do not know this site please sec 2s tell them it will be of great help to them.... Moreover It is our season in July so This is the time to train hard... there are some sec 1s who are promising in terms of skill but not good enough however it has only been 3 days so very well done with the progress keep it up fitness wise you guys are great...6 a side is in 20th may so pull up your socks if you wanna be in top 4 at least for that.... our group is not very hard but fitness wise there are one or maybe 2 good teams but i believe we can win them but don't be too confident...

Today 13/3 was well very tiring...mr arul had his 10 commandments embedded on stone...the jing dribble....speed dribble.....spin left..spin right...dodge left...dodge right...pull back dribble...close dribble...one hand dribble...i think theres one more but i can't rmbr it but well it helped the sec 1s...so at first we ran oni 2.4 coz of the upcoming beep test the next day..well then we had the dribbles...and it was like we had to run from one end to the other dribbling past i think6 or 8 cones...quite tiring at the speed dribble...the dribble stuff was very long....ok the we played match...and i think samuel kept wanting to go play in all the teams lol...i cant rmbr all the result can oni rmrb the team i was in..it was the first match with haqqim's team which ended in 2-1 ...(akhilesh...jetter....me...tej....and rishi and i think zeng kai).. i think tejh or akhi scored and then jetter....then second match was with erm...i think joshua's team...ended in 3-1...kumarr scored and jetter and an own goal which i swept in and somone deflected so 3-1... rishi played well as a promising back and jetter played well as a promising forward and actually everyone played well in all teams...so tt was it for that day but we still wanted to play more matches and so weplayed many many matches until about 1 plus and then we were at the canteen for like 1 hour or so....but it kept raining off and on and at the end we ended up soaking wet...


trng 14/3 well today was beep test and the sec 2s plus sec 3s and on sec 4 did first and it ended up with bryan and sam 10 2 and then hass daniel and shawn came late so they joined the sec ones...and hass did a wonderful job coming in first with jeremy the tracker now hockey player at 10 10...and daniel 10 5....and the sec ones did very well i think theior average is about 8 4 around there....jarrold came today also.....and he helped us with other stuff....and then hass was going to be wearing the gk gear for the first time and he did a good job form a first timer keenan did excellently well in hitting today....and hassanal unbelievably was able to save alot of his shots...so at this point the rest except keenan and i who were helping hass...werer at the fitness corner with jarrold and mr zul doing pull ups and sit ups hah mr zul did 12 and they helped the others with their pull ups and then 2 laps around the track...water break...and then alot of hitting/pushing and flicking and then match whcih my team lost a bad 1-0 to jarrold and the sec 1s and then one of the teams played with jarrold's team of 5 when they had 8 and lost after a 30 min match when it was suppose to be 7 , 3-2....jeremy scoring the 2 for the losing side...and then akhi pravin dennis joshua and I played akhi and I vs the rest for quite long and it was really really funny there was one time i was runnign with the ball almost going to score and joshua said ...eh ringo stop it just let it be and i broke down in laughter....and then akhi and all left and i went to the toilet and me and joshua played for quite long and then we did shortcorners focusing on the basics and speed of the push and the power of the hit...all the way until 3 and then he had to leave and i was practicing my flicks until ig ot the drag and aerial and left at 3 20 coz the ruggers were playing soccer....

Ok today we ran 9 laps and there is this very fast secondary 1 jeremy..good job in coming first today with a timing of 15 53! Keep up the good work and then we did our sweeps and pushes which i felt many sec 2s had improved...especially in their pushes...many of us still trying the deceptive sweep...(sigh)...and then into 209 we went coz of lighting alert and had 1 hour team talk which was rather maybe effective...friday beep test btw!...and then we went back fro playing matches...ended up playing akhilesh..bryan..,Jetter (i think) rishi ,daryl against Shoban, Arvinth, Samuel Cheong, Can't rmbr who was the other one and I we ended up in a 2-2 draw...(sigh) and then we ended it off from 8- about 12 pm tmrw got trng and btw

Today, there was mass 'stick-buying' at Western Cooperation in Penin.. Sec 1s were buying thier news sticks, shin pads and other stuff. I think it was some mazon or gryphon stick.. Wheras, I, Coleman, finally bought a stick which I was meant to buy months ago. It is a 'new-versioned' GRAYS 4k Jumbow. It is this white-blushish-orange stick.. Something like Bryan's stick.. Just less pro. $145 after discount. Anyway, I shall call it Grace. Cos the stick looks a bit girly. Screw the aunty who refuse to give me a free ball or a bag..

I shall update this post instead of Kumarr because he's sick. After all, I am the ass. blog manager. Anyway, he was just stoning outside WC the whole time (2h).. Quite funny. O ya, today me Darrell and Hass arrived much earlier than the sec 1s. Cos some guy got lost. Dun reallu understand the whole story though.. Aki and Brayn heng.. Lucky, I never buy thier stick. See? I'm such a nice guy, Dun impersonate your ego. Anyway, poor Samuel. Has to share the 'new stick' feeling with Hass who bought the exact same stick. Haha. Training 26/2/08

Yesterday we came to know our new assistant teacher in charge.. can't rmbr his name i think mr zul or someting but he seemed pretty friendly but some ppl say he looks fierce??? And then we went for a run at mount rosie which would be one of the most unforgettable experience we ever had...lol we were like walking at one point when some 2 black dogs came to our notice...then i, kumarr (foolishly) asked everybody to start jogging and one of the dogs got our attention and it started to 'chase' us...the funny part was that hassanal was a muslim and you should have seen him run...and then the dog came chasing me i don't know why may \be coz we seemed the same kind or something..he was black i was??? and then I was runniong for my life haha and then i fell into a drain full of algae and the dog tried to cling on to my knee with its claw and it scratched by shin...then it went after keenan and he fell into the drain...we were intending to do a full mount rosie run and not the shortcut unfortunately the dog didn't let us...and hence we climbed to the hillside and fell straight down the steep hill..and the dog jumped over tha bar like he was in hurdles or something lol! and it came chasing us and well dogs run super fast and it was chasing after bryan and and bryan eventually tripped and fell and then when samuel started to be friendlier to the dog i realised what was going on and so did some others but the rest came running grabbing the dog's frking attention...wheeew..that was scary but frking fun! Arul's talk was as usual weird...he said that if you come up to me and say you wnat to be the best dragflicker in the team he would give us a ball so that we can train but the last time i asked him that i wanted to be a good hitter and if he could lend me a ball and his answer was GO FIND IN NATURE!...wonder what the sec1s will endure and btw 5 a side jansenite cranival is coming up! and later 6 a side!

Coleman: My dream hockey stick is the stick samuel lim disallows me to buy... the 5k turbo. I feel that the sticks brings out the best in an attacking player. It offers good control in terms of dribbling the ball as well as when hitting the ball... I cant hit with mazon.. As such....

Among everyone in the c div hockey team which player do you think has the whole package of a good leader and good hockey player?

Coleman: can I say three? If not very bias

Coleman: In my opinion, I feel that the 'best' three hockey players the the C div division team are Akhilesh,Samuel Lim and Bryan... They three clearly display a series of leadership qualities. Undoubtedly, three of them can perform the basic skills in hockey well... During trg... Three of them never fails to participate well. They would try and involve everyone into the game with order. Lastly, I have to say that the sec 2s display much potential. This may not be due to their indivisual skill, but the determination as a team.. Sji will no doubt produce results in thier coming competitions.. We'll just have to run the extra mile, and do it for our flag!!

Who do u think is the most hardworking sec 2...?

Coleman: Most of the sec 2 in the team are hardworking. Many of them had train hard and indeed they've reap what they've sowed. An example could be Arvin... Who has improved trememdously from the previous year.. However, I need to list out Kumarr as the most hardworking player among the sec 2s. He is well-like, hardworking and skillful among the sec 2s... Never fails to train willingly during recess and after school..

well coleman is..blurr..however he is now assistant blog manager and well samuel lim, akhilesh, coleman and I went to peninsula to buy hockey stuff and samuel bought a nice stick...5k turbo and he bought a gryphon cushion grip which cost 15 bucks and i bought a gryphon adhesive grip for 10 bucks.... well for those of you who don't know weston corp at penin is selling all sticks at a 50 % discount!! so hurry go get em'!....and update...

Well coleman was very blurr today( as usual)...an example was when akhi and i kept calling him blurr for so many things i can't remember and i challenged coleman if he could cry..haha and he was like ...wait gimme more time..wait no pressure....wah lao weh! and he kept closing his eyes hoping for tears to come out lol!

ATTENTION TO C DIV

ok guys next tuesday got training for c div ppl so if you didn't know..you know now so you better turn up and sec 1s are coming tmrw..so far only jutter,yiwen and pravin have been playing....and today some sec 1 showed me a stick his cousin gave him and it was very weeird...it was so round at the middle and it felt very short and it also felt lighter than the ball... AND I DUNNO THE NOTICE BOARD SAID ON FRIDAY THERE IS TRAINING FOR US FROM 3.30 TO 5.30 SO I GUESS OUR TRAINING WOULD BE BEFORE THE B DIV GUYS.oh yah and sam fell for come trick today that hand must slice throught the gaps of the other guys two hands it was damn funny..he did it 65 times haha until he realised i wasnt there

haha today was damn weird and disappointing.. this is a famous action done by coleman... yesterday he told me ," ok,kumarr tomorrow i promise i will go peninsula plaza to buy hockey grip with you..confirm one..." today i was waiting outside his class for him to come back and when he did he he said "sorry cant go I NEED to go lan".....that was so coleman..and today told samuel about the blog and he said he would like to be the photographer! great we can have picture..great so on thursday ..interviews with players will commence and i will write down the sec 1 players' names......until now we don't noe who our captains are wah lao...my guess is either akhi,sam or bryan...

Training

well today's 'unofficial'training was really crap..we all seemed very off form after a week long break coz of common tests..we studied real hard and i heard many failed math...hits seemed off...personally i felt my fitness was atrocious and btw we hate those playing soccer at the pitch wehn we are having our own intended training! seriosuly just get off the damn pitch...if we hit them, they get mad, throw our hockey ball towards the field and walk away like an arse...what on earth! it's OUR FRKING PITCH! Why is it that the rugby pitch can be restricted to those playing soccer but not the frking darn hockey pitch...today pravin hit inzhang (sec 4 tracker) with the hockey ball lightly but we all could tell it was painful...he just came to pravin and looked like he was going to punch..we just said he's just a sec 1 and that he's not that confident with his hits yet and thankfully inzhang left...but get this to any of you who want to play in the hockey IF YOU GET HURT..DEAL WITH IT! IF YOU DON'T WANNA GET HURT GET OFF THE PITCH! so we couldn't practice our hits,we just played attack versus defence and just possesion....and when coleman and i went to esso and ate instant noodles,coleman lost his phone and after 20 mine hs used someones phone to call his phone and it was actually among a pack of mint sweets and the cashiers were all like 'haiyah'..lol the whole thing was damn funny...that's just coleman

ok..i,kumarr of 210 will delete this blog if winston doesnt approve of it...but for now..well on behalf of the sec 2s in sji hockey i would like to welcome the new sec 1s to sji hockey...i knwo you will like the experience you will have in sji.secondly i will try my best to update as regular as i can and if the post is damn lame too bad :( and well, our c div this year based on sec 2s alone is not promising and you have my word that we will try our best to do sji proud firstly our fitness is a problem where only a few are fit...our size is small ...really really small...and ok back to the point any of you other than kevin coz i fell ill be asking too mcuh of him can be the official photographer for this blog?it would be great if we can take pictures during matches and also post some pics of the b div..well i might just put what i have so it might be quite empty..for now some pics that winston took in 2007..sorry if the b div is looking at this its oni the c div guys really really really sorry coz its well c div?....ok
